Costruita alla metà del XVIII secolo su disegno di Valentino Alpago-Novello (1707-1793) per il ramo cadetto della nobile famiglia Butta, presente nel Maggior Consiglio di Belluno fino al 1626. Rimaneggiati i rustici e i volumi retrostanti durante i successivi passaggi di proprietà otto e novecenteschi, è stata riportata alle proporzioni architettoniche originarie.
All’interno brani della decorazione a fresco settecentesca ampiamente restaurati.

Built in the middle of XVIII century by Valentino Alpago-Novello (1707-1793) for a cadet branch of the Butta noble family, member of the city council up to 1626. The old buildings and backyards were refurbished during the subsequent changes of ownership during XIX and XX centuries. It has finally been returned to its original architectural style at the end of XX century. Inside there are still parts of the XVIII century frescoes, heavily restored.
