L’impianto attuale della villa, della nobile famiglia bellunese dei Giamosa – attestata dal Trecento nel Maggior Consiglio cittadino – appartiene al XVII secolo, ma alcuni elementi architettonici delle fondamenta e delle cantine testimoniano una precedente struttura quattrocentesca, probabilmente ciò che resta di uno dei castelli che Venezia ordinò di abbattere nel 1421. All’interno interessanti decorazioni a fresco d’epoca. Caratteristica la chiesetta barocca a doppio ottagono all’angolo del perimetro murato che circonda la villa.

The plan of the villa built by, and that still belongs to, the Giamosa noble family of Belluno, recorded in the city council since XIV century, is from the XVII century, but some architectural elements of the foundations and the cellar show evidence of a pre-existing XV century structure, probably one of those middle age castles that Venice ordered to be destroyed when Belluno became venetian in 1420-1421. Inside it still shows part of the original fresco decorations. The baroque church at the corner of the wall that surrounds the villa is based on a double octagon design and is also particularly representative of its time.
