Antico edificio sacro medievale, documentato nel 1434 e poi più volte rimaneggiato, soprattutto dopo i gravi danni subiti nel terremoto del 1873. Dopo la prima guerra mondiale la chiesa è stata ridimensionata, con la distruzione della zona absidale. La struttura lineare e massiccia del campanile, staccato dal corpo della chiesa, ne testimonia l’antichità. La grande pala tardocinquecentesca, di bottega bassanesca, che anticamente ornava la chiesa, è stata trasferita nella vicina parrocchiale di S. Pietro di Sargnano.

Middle age chapel, first recorded in 1434 and then reworked several times, especially after the heavy damages suffered in the earthquake of 1873 and during the 1915-18 firs World War, whose damages destroyed the apsis. The simple and sound structure of the bell tower, separated from the church, stands as testimony to its great age. The altar piece from the late XVI century, made by the Bassano school, that used to be worshipped in this church, has been transferred to the nearby Parish church of Sargnano.
