La semplicità compositiva della facciata suggerisce che un nucleo preesistente sia stato ampliato nelle proporzioni attuali nel corso del XVIII secolo.
Dimora della nobile famiglia Sergnano, che traeva il suo nome dal possesso feudale dell’attuale frazione, fu successivamente di Antonio Maresio-Bazolle, il primo podestà non nobile di Belluno alla metà del XIX secolo, e quindi dei Barcelloni-Corte.
La contigua chiesetta, già cappella funeraria dei Sergnano, rielaborata a fine Settecento su una struttura del XV secolo, versa ora in uno stato di forte degrado.

The simple structure with its linear façade suggests that a pre-existing construction was enlarged during the XVIII century. Originally the residence of the Sergnano noble family, owing its name from the feudal possession of the village of Sargnano, and then later owned by Antonio Maresio-Bazolle (the first bellunese mayor not from a noble family) in the mid XIX century, and then by the noble Barcelloni-Corte family. The nearby little church, that used to be the burial site of the noble Sergnano family, was restyled at the end of XVIII century on a XV century structure.
